4 days and nights exploring the Magical Hogsback area. 

Enjoy a trip to The Mystical Mountains that Inspired Tolken’s “Lord of the Rings. 

Or as the local Xhosa tribes called it “Qabimbola” (meaning 'red clay on the face’). 

Mountain passes include Mitchell's Pass, Dewaalskloof, Katberg Pass & Devils Bellows.

Traveling on gravel roads where possible as well as the Wolfridge 4x4 route.

Includes a ½ day guided Historical self drive History tour of the area.

Approximately 460km, 415km of gravel/off-road.

Note: This tour is may require road Building and clearing of overgrowth in some sections along the route.

Note: 4x4 vehicle required with 4x4 with Low Range, high clearance & Diff-lock.

Note: you will need to be a competent and experience 4x4’er for this tour.

Note: The Tour is limited to 6 vehicles plus guide vehicle. 

Note: If you do not have your own Licence'd VHF Radio with 4x4 ORRA frequencies, you will need to hire one, as this will be our means of communication during the tour.
